MIAMI University returns to Fabriano

Once again this year, the Fondazione Fedrigoni Fabriano welcomed students from the Department of Chemical, Paper and Biomedical Engineering at Miami University (Ohio). During their two days in Fabriano, the students explored the fascinating pavilion entirely dedicated to paper, the Fabriano Paper Pavilion, where they appreciated the ancient purchase orders from the American Japan Paper Company, which has supplied Fabriano paper to the most famous American artists since 1901.

Following this, the visit moved to Pioraco, one of the production sites in the Marche region of the Fabriano paper mill. Here, they closely followed the production stages of various types of paper, immersing themselves in a captivating journey through history and technology.

For 10 years, the Foundation has proudly hosted students from Miami University. Since 2014, it has been one of the stops on the "Paper Engineering in Austria and Central Europe" program, a month-long journey to discover European paper.
