The project

The Fedrigoni Fabriano Foundation, in compliance with the limitations imposed by copyright law, has initiated the digitization of some volumes preserved in the Library annexed to the Miliani Fabriano Paper Mills Archive. The Foundation is thankful for the contribution to this effort granted by the Marche Region under L.R. n. 4/2010 – DGR n. 495/2022 – Regional Library System. Call for support for regional projects for the promotion of reading and the enhancement of libraries in the Marche region, has purchased professional equipment suitable for converting the selected volumes into digital format.

The project, which has so far seen the digitization of part of the publications belonging to the "Storia della carta" and "L’Era del Segno" series published by the Pia Università dei Cartai and the Miliani Fabriano Paper Mills, ensures greater accessibility to out-of-print volumes and seeks to minimize the handling of large-format volumes or those in poor conservation conditions to safeguard them from the risk of rapid deterioration.

In the online catalog, an excerpt (cover, introduction, index, etc.) of the volumes digitized so far is made available to users free of charge. Users interested in receiving the entire volume can request it by writing to info@fondazionefedrigoni.it.
