Casa Fedrigoni Open Day 2023
On Friday, June 9, the Fedrigoni Fabriano Foundation presented to the public the latest initiatives for the conservation and enhancement of Casa Fedrigoni, the precious archive of the Fedrigoni Group. In the morning, city authorities were welcomed, while in the afternoon, enthusiasts and curious visitors had the opportunity to tour the archive and watch a master papermaker from Fabriano demonstrate the ancient art of handmade paper production.
The initiative promoted by the Foundation, which manages the Casa Fedrigoni Archive, was organized in collaboration with the AGILE Association. During this event, they presented the ARCOVER project (Archivi del Costruito del Territorio Veronese in Rete), which involves the digitization of documents, photographs, and projects preserved in Verona at the Casa Fedrigoni archive building. These are now freely accessible on the portal www.arcover.it.
The archive will be exceptionally presented by Chiara Medioli Fedrigoni, president of the Foundation, Giorgetta Bonfiglio Dosio, full professor of archival science, president of ANAI-Veneto, and director of the journal "Archivi," and architect Michele De Mori, president of the AGILE Association and coordinator of the ARCOVER project.
