An extract of the interview conducted with Cav for the Archive is online. Luigi Ciabuschi, former Director of the Veronese paper mills. During the interview conducted by Flavio Viventi, Production Manager of Fedrigoni Group in Verona, Ciabuschi retraced decades of history, innovation and dedication in the paper sector.
Luigi Ciabuschi, born in the Marche region in 1931, dedicated much of his professional life to the Fedrigoni paper mill in Verona. He lived for years with his family in the villa that now houses the company archive, called Casa Fedrigoni, which overlooks the Verona factory.With a background in paper chemistry, hired by Gianfranco Fedrigoni in 1969, he contributed to the development of new types of paper, such as the famous Splendorlux.
Arriving in Verona during a period of post-war reconstruction, Ciabuschi played a crucial role in raising the factory from the rubble. His ability to adapt and innovate has allowed him to introduce new technologies and significantly improve production.
During his career, Ciabuschi traveled extensively, especially in America, bringing with him precious technological innovations that transformed the Verona factory. His vision and commitment have left an indelible mark on the history of the paper mill.
As a sign of appreciation for his merits, the Fedrigoni Fabriano Foundation has appointed Cav. Luigi Ciabuschi “Honorary Member”. An award that celebrates his dedication and contribution to the culture and production of paper.
