The Foundation at the 2025 General Assembly of Cultural Diplomacy
The Marche region had the honor of hosting the 2025 General Assembly of Cultural Diplomacy (October 23-24, 2025), a prestigious event held annually by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The second day opened in the magnificent Lauro Rossi Theatre in Macerata with the session titled 'Business and Territory in the World', introduced and moderated by Alessandro De Masi, Head of Office VI of the Directorate General for the Promotion of the Italian System.
It was a lively and inspiring exchange between institutions and the business world, featuring outstanding representatives from the Marche region. Among the speakers were the Fedrigoni Fabriano Foundation, represented by Livia Faggioni, Board Member & Coordinator; Iginio Straffi, President and Founder of Rainbow Group; Deborah Carè, Chief Human Resources Officer at Elica; Domenico Baratto, President of WEGA Formazione; and Maria Paola Palermi, Head of Communications at Loccioni.
This was a valuable opportunity to reflect on the role of businesses in promoting Italian culture abroad, the challenges of internationalization, and the innovation of cultural offerings.
Le Marche continues to affirm itself as a crossroads of creativity, entrepreneurship, and global vision—and even FABRIANO paper becomes a vehicle of cultural diplomacy: one that connects, narrates, and builds relationships.
